Voting access: Hamilton County sets early voting hours for six-day window

Voters in Hamilton County have two in-person paths to the ballot: cast a ballot during the early voting period or vote at a polling place on Election Day, November 3. The window to request a mail-in ballot has closed.

The Hamilton County Board of Elections will keep extended hours for early voting. From October 28 through October 30, the office runs 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, October 31, hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Sunday, November 1, the office is open 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office is closed November 2. On Election Day itself, the board will be open 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Early voting in Hamilton County takes place at the Board of Elections rather than at neighborhood polling locations. Voters planning to cast a ballot on Election Day can check their assigned polling location through the board.

A valid form of identification is required, including a U.S. passport, a driver's license, a military ID or a photo ID.

Voters who requested an absentee ballot but decide to vote in person, early or on Election Day, may still do so. Board of Elections officials said such ballots are cast provisionally and counted after eligibility is verified. Officials also urged voters to research the candidates ahead of casting a ballot.

The board's office is located in Norwood, Ohio.
