Fourteen people died in Dnipro today after Russian forces hit the city's railway station with a jet-powered drone. The attack struck while a train bound for Zaporizhzhia sat nearby on the tracks. Fourteen others were injured in the blast. Six of those wounded, including an 11-year-old boy, remain in serious condition.
The violence was not isolated to the Dnipro region. In Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast, a drone strike on an apartment building killed three people and injured 15 more, including three children. Meanwhile, attacks on the center of Chernihiv killed two 15-year-old girls. Twenty-three others were injured there, a group that included four children and a 10-month-old baby.
Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the President's Office, reacted to the toll on X. He stated that the killings showed how Russia truly feels about ending the war. He called the events on the streets and in residential buildings Russia's arguments in negotiations.
Budanov urged the free world to respond with real strength. He declared that for every victim in Ukraine, Russian defense industry facilities must burn. He added that Moscow's ability to wage aggression must be destroyed to stop the daily loss of life in Europe.
The strikes occurred on October 29, 2026. The incidents in Dnipro, Kremenchuk, and Chernihiv happened in a single day. Budanov called on Ukraine's partners to provide a fitting response to the daily terror.
