The Indianapolis Colts begin a four-game losing streak on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium against the Dallas Cowboys. The team aims to stop its slide with a home victory.

Head coach Shane Steichen told his players to maintain a growth mindset during the current stretch. He described the team as being in a storm, noting that the only way out is to press forward rather than look back. Steichen instructed the roster to be professionals, focusing on details and discipline in every practice session leading up to the game.

The squad is undergoing changes after trading two of its captains, Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner. Wide receiver Josh Downs has requested a trade, and other players are rumored to be on the trading block. Steichen stated after a lopsided loss to the Jaguars that he is evaluating everything.

Steichen indicated that younger players will see increased playing time. He cited Caden Curry, who recorded seven tackles and a fumble recovery in the previous game. Curry will appear more often in his role, which includes special teams and defensive end positions.

The Colts signed defensive tackle Adetomiwa Adebawore to a two-year contract extension on Tuesday. Adebawore currently holds 19 tackles and four sacks this season. Steichen called Adebawore a huge bright spot since training camp, praising his pass rushing and one-on-one winning ability. The coach highlighted Adebawore's character, preparation, and relentless effort to get after the quarterback.

The kickoff is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
