Mark Jobe finished his teaching on Colossians 3 on October 29. The final message focused on renewing the mind as part of restoring a person's identity.
Jobe serves as the founding pastor of New Life Community Church. The Chicago-based organization operates in more than 25 locations. He also founded New Life Centers, which serves at-risk youth in the city. Previously, he held the position of president at Moody Bible Institute.
The program is titled Bold Steps with Dr. Mark Jobe. It airs through WCRF-FM. The current season features a two-part series. The first part addressed the concept of identity. The second part, released on October 29, discusses how believers replace old attitudes with a new self.
In the final message, Jobe advises listeners to start each day by declaring what God says about them. He notes that the process is not about defeating an old nature with the same old nature. The teaching encourages the audience to step into the role for which they were made.
The broadcast includes a promotional gift for listeners. The item is a book titled The Church In Babylon: Heeding the Call to Be a Light in the Darkness. Erwin Lutzer and Ed Stetzer are the authors of that book. Moody Global Media and Moody Bible Institute hold the copyright for the 2026 season.
Jobe shares his ministry and life with his wife, Dee. The program aims to offer simple gospel messages. It targets listeners seeking freedom and authenticity in Christ through topical teaching.
